A vast number have commented under the post, though largely dividing between those ardently seeking his return and others still holding grudges over some decisions made during his reign in the Capital: “Come back Jim, and make Roma great again” writes one fan, taking a leaf from the widely recognized American slogan, “Make America Great Again”. Echoing many others: “Come back as President”, “We miss you”. Equally, however, there are just as many completely opposite comments: “Selling Strootman at the end of the market was a great move”, “Don’t talk about Roma, you’re not one of us”. The Giallorossi fans are greatly shaken by this beginning of the season.
