The former Roma midfielder may return home between Thursday and Saturday.

Around 8 this morning, Edoardo Bove has successfully undergone the placement of a subcutaneous defibrillator in the Hemodynamics unit of Careggi Hospital, reports La Gazzetta dello Sport. The device is removable, pending the results of all the tests carried out in the hospital. The decision will then be made independently whether to keep it, remove it, or switch to a more definitive version similar to the one implanted in Christian Eriksen in 2021. The choice will be made in a couple of months, but any prospect of a return to Italian football has been conclusively closed regardless. The former midfielder of Roma will be able to return home between Thursday and Saturday.
