A beautiful surprise awaited Bruno Conti at Trigoria as he snapped a photo with the street artist Drugi.

Bruno Conti and Diego Armando Maradona in the 80s and 90s inscribed indelible pages in the history of Serie A. The two were also friends off the field, and thus, ahead of Roma-Napoli, street artist Drugi created a mural in the Capital featuring the two former footballers in an embrace. That design eventually became a painting that was just yesterday delivered to Conti in Trigoria. Here are Drugi’s words: “To Bruno Conti. Romano, a Romans fan, a champion of yesteryears both on and off the field. Thank you for your kindness and generosity.
