The Yellow-Red club has joined the family in their grief, making the announcement through their social media channels.

The Yellow-Red family mourns the loss of Giorgio Pellizzaro. The former goalkeeper coach of Roma has sadly passed away at the age of 77 years. He was a member of Claudio Ranieri’s staff between 2009 and 2011, during the Testaccio coach’s first stint in yellow and red. Roma made the announcement on their own social channels: “AS Roma mourns the passing of Giorgio Pellizzaro, the goalkeeper coach of the yellow and reds on Mr. Ranieri’s staff between 2009 and 2011. “The Club extends its deepest condolences to the bereaved family.” Julio Sergio shared his farewell via social media: “You have now found your rest. You haven’t provided any text to be translated. Please provide the text that you want translated. You, along with Claudio Ranieri, have forever changed my life, and the least I can express is my utmost admiration and eternal gratitude! Thank you so much, Giorgio, for everything you have given me, for encouraging me, and for helping me achieve my goals. I am certain that you’re already standing side by side with phenomenal and kind individuals who have made history in football in a highly competent and nearly invisible manner to the public, yet remarkable in the clubs where they worked. “Rest and know that in me, you will be eternal.”
