The ex-athletic trainer for Roma, who stepped up to the microphones of Radio Serie A, told a story from his journey with the ‘giallorosso’ featuring Totti and Salah. Here are the words of Emanuele Marra in response to the question of how many players actually enjoy playing football and how many do it solely for work: “I can share an anecdote. I wouldn’t be able to give you a percentage, but to give you an idea of the importance of what we’re discussing, let me tell you that two players I’ve had the pleasure of coaching, Totti and Salah, I’ve found them kicking a ball around in the shower after training, while they were washing. This showcases the amount of passion and love there is in what they do. Not that it is a technical improvement, but to demonstrate just how much they love the ball.”
