AS Roma Targets Lyon’s Nuamah as Alternative to Federico Chiesa
AS Roma is actively pursuing reinforcements for their attacking lineup ahead of the next season, aiming to provide new head coach Daniele De Rossi with a robust squad. The Giallorossi are set to meet with Fali Ramadani, the agent of Federico Chiesa, in the Italian capital next week to discuss the potential transfer of the star winger. However, the club’s interest does not end with Chiesa. AS Roma is also eyeing Ernest Nuamah from Lyon as a viable alternative. The 2003-born Ghanaian talent, capable of playing on both wings, is seen as an ideal fit for De Rossi’s preferred 4-3-3 formation. Despite the high costs associated with bringing Nuamah to Rome, the club is determined to strengthen their options in this position.
In the recently concluded season, Nuamah made 33 appearances for Lyon across Ligue 1 and the Coupe de France, contributing 3 goals and 2 assists. His versatility and potential make him a significant target for the Giallorossi as they strategize their transfer moves.
