The yellow-and-red team’s striker has secured the 29th spot, equally ranking with his teammate Mats Hummels, following the last extraordinary season with Girona.

Yesterday’s night was special for Artem Dovbyk, who attended the Ballon d’Or awards ceremony. The award was conferred to Manchester City’s midfielder, Rodri, but for the Ukrainian, being among the top 30 is as good as winning. The yellow and red center forward has positioned himself in the 29th spot, tied with his teammate Mats Hummels, following their last splendid season with Girona. The forward posted some snapshots of yesterday’s ceremony on Instagram with this comment: “It’s a pleasure to be among the top thirty players in Europe this year”. The former Borussia player also posted on social media following the event: “It was a great honor and pleasure to have been at the Ballon d’Or ceremony. And once again, congratulations to Rodri, an incredible player.”
