According to the reports of the renowned Calcio e Finanza, the “yellow-reds” command the fourth highest gross payroll in the entirety of Serie A, totaling a whopping €95.7 million. Ahead of us, only AC Milan (108.4), Juventus (117.6) and Inter Milan (141.7) lead. Expanding the ranking to all European championships, Roma comes in at the strong 18th place for overall gross wages; only Fenerbahce and Crystal Palace trail behind. The Giallorossi have nevertheless managed to lighten the gross cost of the squad compared to previous years, succeeding in staying below the threshold of 100 million.
