Also present at the event were Leonardo Graziani and Giulio Misitano.

After Testaccio, the yellow-red club’s project aimed at promoting sports values and social inclusion has also arrived in the Corviale district. The “AS Roma for special” team, made up of boys participating in the FIGC Paralympic tournament, traveled together with Leonardo Graziani and Giulio Misitano (lads from the Giallorossi Spring) to the Field of Miracles for a special triangular meet. Below is the club’s press release:

“On October 23, the team members with intellectual-relational disabilities from AS Roma for Special, who participate in the paralympic FIGC tournament, visited the Field of Miracles in the Corviale neighborhood to participate in a triangular football match with particularly significant opponents. Accompanying them were the Roma Primavera footballers, Leonardo Graziani and Giulio Misitano. In addition to the hosts of Social Football, a team whose goal is to promote integration in a challenging context like the Corviale neighbourhood, AS Roma for Special has faced the Frolla Football Team, a Marche-based team also involved in the FIGC Paralympic tournament. This squad combines sporting commitment with a unique work project, offering its athletes the opportunity to work within the Frolla Microbiscuit Factory, run by young people with disabilities. In attendance at the tournament, which was preceded by a formal greeting from the President of the Municipality of Rome XI, Gianluca Lanzi, the founder of Social Football, Massimo Vallati, and the co-founder of the Frolla Microbicotti Social Cooperative, Gianluca Di Lorenzo, were numerous local children. They also had the opportunity to participate in a workshop on the importance of proper nutrition that was held in the sports center’s gymnasium.

This was an afternoon unlike any other, centered around inclusion and solidarity. A special tribute was made by the Frolla Football Team to all participants; a biscuit commemorating the event adorned with the AS Roma logo.
