“Many ask me what I would do at this moment. In the past, we have experienced difficult times, but we have always remained respectful to Roma’s fans,” the words from the former president on Instagram.
Roma has collapsed again at the Olimpico, this time against Italian team Bologna. The defeat has cost Ivan Juric his role on the sidelines, as a statement, released just minutes after the end of the match, relieved him of his duties. Rosella Sensi, former president of Roma, voiced her thoughts on the challenging moment the club is currently facing through a post published on Instagram. Here are his words:
“To see my beloved Rome lose once again drives me insane. And it makes me reflect at the same time. I don’t understand many things and I believe it’s time for the owners to show us the course they intend to follow and what future awaits us after Juric. Many are asking me: what would I do at this moment? It is not easy, I assure you. In the past, we’ve lived through difficult times, but we have always remained respectful of Roma’s fans, just as the Friedkin family has and, I’m sure, will continue to do. “I hope that the future can be brighter, that starting from tomorrow, a new journey of joys and victories will begin.”
