In a surprising move on the eve of their Europa League match against AS Roma, Feyenoord’s head coach, Arne Slot, has opted to conduct the team’s final training session in Rotterdam, rather than in Rome, ahead of their decisive encounter at the Olimpico Stadium against Daniele De Rossi’s squad.
Slot’s Decision Explained Addressing the media in a press conference, the Dutch coach shed light on his decision, stating, “We have trained in Rotterdam because we are familiar with the stadium here. Another reason is that in the Netherlands, we can give instructions during training.” Slot elaborated, “It would be naive to think that if we had trained in this stadium, there wouldn’t have been a camera somewhere here.
